How ‘Peripheral Vision’ and other surprisingly simple techniques she can perform in seconds … changed how she experiences life.
NLP+ Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses have rocked our world to its core! ~ Ayodele
I use Peripheral Vision in my daily practice now, and I am consciously aware of its benefits and constantly attempt to bring my awareness to the periphery in order to calm my nerves or simply to expand the absorption of my experience of life. This is one of the many skills that the course has taught me. There are too many to list here and I don’t feel that my words would do justice to them all, so I will share but a few.
NLP+ has transformed me from someone who is fearful of ridicule and is crushed by the weight of perfectionism, to a lighter being with skills to stop the feelings of anxiety and worry within a matter of seconds, simply by going into peripheral vision.
Anxiety is something that plagued the majority of my life. It was not the crippling ‘can’t function, panic-attack inducing kind, it was slightly less debilitating than that, but was something that impacted my life in an incredibly negative way and has taken for me to dig down deep and harness all of the resources that I have to deal with my anxiety in order to have difficult conversations or deliver presentations or turn up for dates.
The use of Peripheral Vision has changed not only the way I see life, but the way I experience life. It is a tool that I use to manage my anxiety and has transformed me from someone who is fearful of ridicule and is crushed by the weight of perfectionism, to a lighter being with skills to stop the feelings of anxiety and worry within a matter of seconds, simply by going into peripheral vision.
Anxiety, Panic and Presentations – Can I do it?
As part of my modelling project, and specifically in finding a suitable subject to model, I was invited to attend a meeting with some of the members of the British Origami Society and was asked to deliver a presentation on my project and on NLP, with just 24 hours to prepare! Prior to having an awareness of peripheral vision, I’m not so sure that I would have been up for the challenge, and if I had been, the panic and anxiety would have gotten in the way.
However, on this occasion, I was such a cool cat that I managed to find not just one, but 5 people who wanted to participate in the project, in addition to finding people who are interested in me coaching them and I was also asked to write an article about the project for the British Origami Society magazine!
I owe this success to the calmness and precision that peripheral vision allowed me to deliver the presentation and enabled the information to easily flow out of me.
My daughter has also been on the receiving end of the positive effects of the training.
She has recently experienced some upset and was struggling to manage with her emotions. I asked her to do some Timeline Therapy, which she agreed to. We did the Timeline Therapy with great effect and will continue to use Lianne to help re-balance imbalance in negative emotions or limiting decisions that come up in the future.
We have had numerous successes with the techniques that I have used to support her in feeling better. As a result of the training I have done, I feel more complete, more effective, more balanced, more centered, more whole, more able, more capable, more peaceful, energised, resilient, harmonious and unstoppable than I have ever felt before.
I cannot recommend this training more highly to anyone in need of a life transformation. It has assisted me in uncovering what was once dormant within me to come to life and shine more brightly than I knew was ever possible. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.
