To understand what the Excellence Culture is, it is best to start by defining our …
The ‘Excellence Mindset’
Those of you who know us, know that we always strive to be the very best of the best, not the best of the rest as some people choose, the very best of the best in everything that we do for ourselves and others.
In order to do this we study other successful people, such as; athletes, business people, leaders, coaches, trainers; in fact, anyone that is excellent at what they do.
A theme that they all have in common is an excellence mindset, so here are five tips to put you on the road to achieving that mindset:1 Have dreams that are so big that if you got them you would have everything that you want in life. When you make those dreams you must always keep them in mind so if things get tough you know where to focus. That focus will keep you going when you feel things are going against you or if people are telling you to give up and it will keep those dreams alive. 2 Surround yourself with people who support your dreams and believe in you. Consider using a professional Coach to free your thinking or a Mentor who has a record of success. Successful people have other successful around them. 3 See failure as feedback. Use anything that is perceived as a barrier, obstacle or feedback as things to learn from, staying objective and detached from emotion. These are opportunities to take a different path to achieve your dreams. 4 Keep developing your personal skills and seek feedback from others. Sometimes we need others to tell us things that are in our personal blind spot to give us opportunity to grow and develop further. You don’t know what you don’t know so invest time and focus in gaining this from others. 5 Be flexible on the journey. If something isn’t working you need to change it. Lots of people keep doing the same thing and expect different results. Go back to basics, evaluate what works and what doesn’t, revise and reshape to come up with a new way forward.
