Day 3 – February 23, 2015 Jane said to meet her by ‘the Bull’ so …
Day 15 – March 7, 2015
Today was very special – not only did it mark the completion of Mark and Nicky’s 8-day NLP Practitioner training programme, but today was the first day that I could actually feel the warmth of the sun’s rays!! Mind you, there’s no mistaking the chill in the air!
The last day was spent finishing up our Hypnotherapy training – talk about deep RELAXATION!! If I thought that the Ericksonian techniques of the day before were amazing, but today’s journey into Elman’s induction took me deeper … and deeper … even ten times more relaxed – it’s a wonder I remained seated on the chair!
The rest of the day was spent on Coaching do’s and don’ts, including when not to coach or take on a coaching client in order to ensure that ‘you only have successful coaching clients’!
Quote for the day – “never re-boil your cabbage since it never tastes as good the second time” (Mark Taylor) – good reminder never to go over the same ground twice as many of us do … and sometimes even more than twice!!!
It’s good to also recognize that NLP Coaching is ‘surgical’ – goes in like a knife to quickly and effectively deal with the presenting problem and does not require months of out-patient treatment, like most traditional coaching and counselling.
We ended on a high note – a group of nine excellent NLP Practitioners, inspired and trained by two awesome OPT2XL NLP Trainers, assisted by five committed and grateful Coaching Assistants, including yours truly!
And the journey continues…
